| Tell us about yourself | About Me – Hmm, what’s there to say? I am from New England (raised in southeastern MA, lived in RI for a short time and have spent the rest of my adult life in northern NH up in the White Mountains – I am relocating part-time to the Seacoast (Portsmouth, NH) this fall). I was born an American with half Portuguese, half French Canadian descent. I am the oldest child of five with a brother and sister on each side of my split family. I married my college sweetheart 13 years ago (we have dated for almost 30 years come May). Just after our storybook wedding in Italy, we returned to the states to discover we were pregnant with Cowboy ‘Lil. He is the light of our life and our greatest accomplishment. I studied Technology and Business Management in college and worked in that industry for 15 years during what I call my “first career”. After having cowboy lil I experienced severe depression for the first time. I had always been a seeker and a seer but it was this major catalyst in my life that caused me to want to dig my heels in the sand and make “Discovery” a predominant force in my path of becoming. While doing the SAHM thing I studied and became a Yoga Teacher, I also trained and became a Reiki Master and I went on to study in Horses & Leadership. I had always been a longtime equestrian in pursuit of combining my love and desire to be with horses regularly with my vocation. I then shifted careers in Coaching after I spent 7 years studying and working as a Master Somatic Leadership Coach guided by horses. I really thought I enjoyed Technology, mostly because I was good at it. It wasn’t until I started coaching that my heart filled up in ways I never knew it needed. I love teaching the ideaology behind how horses organize themselves and why a herd will follow a lead mare – that relate to how humans negotiate and organize themselves and why one human will follow another. I love yoga, meditating, journaling, taking care of my Self. I enjoy fancy grocery stores, farmers markets, crafting, creating, community and collaborations. I am at peace outside in nature and with animals, in the mountains or by the ocean and continuing my lifelong learning and pursuit of studying the Human Condition. I am currently in transition some relocating so my young son can attend a specialized athletic performance school which brings about many changes for me personally and our family. However, where ever I am on my path my own personal noble truths remain the same surrounding Self-Discovery, Leadership (Relationship) and Wellness/Wellbeing. These are what my life is made up of!
