Daily Inventory
To increase your self-awareness, it’s essential to take inventory each day (repeat for at least 1 week)
For this lesson, we’re looking for daily experiences that disturbed your inner peace – from subtle to significant.
Instructions:
Using the Daily Inventory tracking sheet provided in the course workbook, you will review each day and explore what triggered your experience, and begin to identify the underlying thoughts and feelings that contributed to your behavior. You will also track the outcome and see if you can spot any cognitive distortions that might have been present. We suggest you keep a Daily Inventory for at least one week and then use it as needed.
Included in this lesson:
- Daily Inventory Template
- Feeling Wheel
- List of Cognitive Distortions
You may also use your own journal if you’d like. Just be sure to capture the important categories for this exercise.
